Dr. Rachel Slaybaugh, partner at DCVC and co-founder of Good Energy Collective, will share insights on how policy, research, and investment can accelerate innovation. She previously served as an associate professor of nuclear engineering at UC Berkeley and as a division director at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where she led the Cyclotron Road Accelerator program supporting early-stage scientific projects. Dr. Slaybaugh also created ARPA-E’s nuclear fission program.

Lindsey Boles, Chief Product Officer at Zeno Power, brings a 15-year career in the nuclear industry rooted in chemical engineering and spanning nuclear reactor operations, advanced reactor design, medical isotope development, and radioisotope power system design and development.
Founded in 2018, Zeno Power is pioneering a new generation of radioisotope power systems for commercial and government applications on Earth and in space. In her talk, Lindsey will outline the company’s growth, describe RPS technologies, and highlight key technical and programmatic milestones on Zeno’s roadmap to a 2027 technology deployment.
